If you are living in a same-sex relationship, contact your county council for information about what options are available where you live.

Contact your healthcare provider for an examination if you have tried to get pregnant but have been unsuccessful. Different county councils have different rules. In certain counties, you should have been trying to conceive for six months; in others, you should have been trying for up to one year. Contact your local healthcare provider earlier if you are over 35 or if you for various reasons know that you are unable to get pregnant on your own.
